Chevrolet supports 'Autogas Forest' environmental initiative

The German LPG Association (DVFG) has just launched an initiative called "Autogas Forest". This initiative is aimed at raising awareness of the environmental advantages of vehicles powered by liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in cooperation with different partners of the LPG market, including Chevrolet Germany. LPG or autogas is the leading alternative fuel globally.

The idea is to plant a tree for every vehicle sold running on LPG or retrofitted to run on LPG in Germany, creating new woodlands across the country that further contribute to the reduction of CO2.

Chevrolet Germany is the cooperation partner of the first reforestation project, as part of which 6,000 oak trees will be planted in the nature reserve of Mönchbruch, located close to Chevrolet Germany's headquarters in Rüsselsheim.
