2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Car

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, Mitsubishi has confirmed that its Lancer Evolution will bow out of the market after the 2015 model year, and at this point it’s not clear what will replace it. Mitsubishi has said in the past that any successor to the Evo will be very different to past generations of the car, with many suggesting it will be a hybrid car mitsubishi.

Unfortunately, it may be several years still until we see a proper successor launched, as Mitsubishi has also said it won’t start development of such a car until it has suitable technology.

As for the final 2015 Lancer Evolution, there aren’t many updates to report on. The side mirrors are now heated and feature integrated turn signals, while a new drop cup holder with lid has been installed in the cabin.

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport- Gearing Up For Launch in India

Mitsubishi is all set to launch the Pajero Sport in India by February 2012. The news has been confirmed by Hindustan Motors MD, Mr. Manoj Jha. Mitsubishi had previously planned on unveiling and then going on to launch the new Pajero Sport in India at the upcoming 2012 Indian Auto Expo. However, the launch was delayed as the auto maker had to pull out owing to the floods in Thailand.

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport

The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will be assembled at Hindustan Motors-Mitsubishi’s Chennai manufacturing unit. The company is also planning to increase the localization of the SUV to price it competitively. It has placed it under the Rs. 20 lakh range so that it can give fair competition to Toyota’s Fortuner and Ford’s Endeavour amongst others.

The all new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will have a 2.5-litre, 16-valve intercooled turbocharged CRDI diesel motor capable of producing peak power of 135 Bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque. The engine is likely to be mated to either a 5 speed manual transmission or a 5 speed automatic transmission. Interestingly, Mitsubishi’s tried and tested Super Select 4 WD is expected to be standard on the Pajero Sport. The Pajero Sport will also come as a 7 seater and is expected to be a capable off-roader. Further details will be announced shortly.

The Pajero Sport will arrive in India as a completely knocked down (CKD) kit from Thailand. The CKD kits will be assembled at Mitsubishi’s Chennai assembly unit. It will have competition in the premium SUV segment with the best selling Toyota Fortuner SUV and the 2012 Chevrolet Captiva which is also gearing up for a launch in the coming months. The Pajero Sport will join the party with the much in news Endeavour. The new SUV from Mitsubishi will be a sales puller if it manages to position the entry level Pajero Sport at a decent Rs. 1-1.5 lakh below the soon to be launched 2012 new Toyota Fortuner.

Mitsubishi Published Prototype-S Photos

The Geneva Motor Show is just around the corner and already, automakers are whetting our appetite with photos of vehicles they would unveil at the prestigious event. Recently, The Auto Channelpublished a photo of the Mitsubishi Prototype-S which will be unveiled in Geneva next month.

One look at it and you would easily see its resemblance to the 2005 Mitsubishi Sportback concept car. The grille and the overall profile of the Prototype-S is similar to that of the Sportback.

One styling cue that screams at you is the jet fighter nose. That gaping hole-like in the nose looks very much like the ones on jet fighters of old. The Prototype-S styling of the grille though is not similar to that of the Sportback as it has been modified for the new concept car.

The bonnet is not taken from the Sportback concept. Instead, it bears resemblance to the hood on the Lancer Evolution X, the EVO as we call it. The hood gives the Prototype-S an aggressive stance which makes it look like a race-prepped car ready to spring into action at any given moment.

At the back, Mitsubishi improved on the Sportback by giving the Prototype-S a sportier stance. The rear of the car looks wider thanks to its tail lights which hugs the side of the car.

Naturally, auto enthusiasts would have to wait for a long time before they can get their hands on this Mitsubishi road rocket. I am expecting that it will not only look like a fast car but will also be really a fast car. With Mitsubishi's penchant for producing high-performance cars,

The much awaited new model of the SUV Pajero will be launched in the first quarter of year 2012. Making this announcement, Mr. Manoj Jha, Managing Director of Hindustan Motors Limited, which manufactures and markets Mitsubishi Motors Corporation’s Pajero and other vehicles also in India, stated here today, “We had decided to launch Pajero as well as new variants from the HM stable at the Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi. However, some dislocation of operations at Mitsubishi Motors’ Thailand facility due to natural calamity and unexpected events compelled us to alter our plans for participation in the auto show.”

“One of our passenger carrier variants is expected to get approval from Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) soon. Other commercial variants built on the Ambassador platform are also in the pipeline. Market research is being conducted across different states to elicit customer feedback on the new products. Full Review

Exterior
The earlier pajero models before 2009 were having a bit truck lick structure but now mitsubishi had overcome this issue.

 Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Interior were a thing of worry for the pajero models launched before 2009 . Now mitsubishi had too overcome that problem And had launched 2.8sfh,&3.2di-d with a blast, The interior colour of earlier as well as the recent models are just Ahhhhh...

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
All The pajero models including the 2.8sfh,& 3.2di-d engine i suppose are the most powerfull engine in its class no debate there.
Now performance and fuel cannot go hand in hand if you expect a great performance then you should compramize on fuel economy & the other way out too. But still pajero offers you a decent mileage not the best but still a quite decent one.

Ride Quality & Handling
Very good looks ,a decent feul economy , Quality safety features ,Great seating capacity, most comfortable driving experiance car, A real quality car for a SUV experiance And why not should it be as its been launched by mitsubishi all credit to them, And thatzz all you need to e the most desired car in the market.

Areas of improvement
Cannot be suggested by me mitsubishi know its area of inprovement And had done the xpected jobs too from ages.
