Chevrolet Travera, from General Motors is set to be launched at Rs 6.72 lakh in India. The new Travera gets a new name- Travera Neo 3 and was unveiled at the Delhi Auto Show 2012. The Neo3 comes with a list of innovative features including a new set of head lamps and a stylish front grille with the Chevrolet insignia. The new revamped vehicle offers better comfort and additional interior space.
As far as the engine specifications are concerned, Travera Neo 3 has a 2.5L 4-cylinder Turbo diesel engine. The engine is BSIII compliant while the BSIV engine will be out soon. Chevrolet Travera Neo 3 is offered with various seating options that include seating capacity from 6 to 10 persons as per customers' choice. The prices would range from Rs.6.72 lakhs for the Neo 3LS 10 seater to Rs.10.02 lakhs for the Neo 3 LT-7 seater offering competition both on price and performance to the very popular Toyota Innova.
When the 2012 Chevrolet Travera Neo 3 model was showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo 2012, it attracted a large number of car enthusiasts and visitors. In addition to the passenger vehicle version, the MUV has also been rolled-out in an ambulance version. It will be in the price segment of Rs 636,000 to Rs 713,000.
The Chevrolet Travera is available in Neo, Neo Max, Neo LS, and Neo LT. How well the all new Chevrolet Travera Neo 3 will be received, only time will tell.
