Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. announces the Philippine premiere of the All-New Honda Jazz during the 2nd Philippine International Motor Show at the World Trade Center Metro Manila.
Widely acclaimed for its dynamic styling, spacious interiors, versatile utility and remarkable fuel economy, the 2nd generation Honda Jazz introduces more advanced and vibrant features to bring out added fun and excitement to one’s driving experience. Living up to its demeanor, the All-New Jazz is aptly named as a Fun Utility Vehicle or simply, an F.U.V.!
Dynamic Styling
The All-New Honda Jazz sports a unique forward-leaning cabin form styling that highlights sharper lines, wider stance and improvement in aerodynamics. Fronting the Jazz is a trapezoid bumper grille, harmonized together with the hexagon grille design to give it a sporty, solid stance. To complement its over-all dynamic, sporty appeal, the new Jazz now comes in 16” for its 1.5-liter variant and 15” tire size for its 1.3-liter variant.
Powerful Performance
Available in 1.5 liter and 1.3 liter variants, the All-New Jazz 5-door hatchback delivers a maximum power output of 120 ps at 6600 rpm and 100 ps at 6000 rpm, respectively, making it the most powerful in its class. The entire 2nd generation Honda Jazz line-up is now equipped with the renowned intelligent VTEC or i-VTEC engine. Power output has been optimized with the i-VTEC engine to realize more lively and nimble driving within the city and a carefree experience on long drives, while maintaining its outstanding fuel economy.
To further enhance fuel efficiency, the Jazz comes with a class-leading 5-speed automatic transmission that makes the engine work less hard. Also, a fuel consumption meter is available in the liquid crystal display to delightfully keep track of one’s instantaneous and average fuel mileage. With the cutting-edge technology behind the i-VTEC engine coupled with 5-speed automatic transmission, the new Jazz fuses power and fuel economy, bringing spirited and more fun-filled driving to every liter of gasoline.
Versatile Cabin Space and Interior
Step inside the Honda Jazz and experience a carefree interior that is brimming with vitality and ease of operations. Succeeding in achieving a revolutionary small car with its innovative center fuel tank layout, the Honda Jazz carries over the same layout to maintain its maneuverability. Seating five people, the Jazz still leaves ample room for one’s cargo with up to 384 liters capacity size. Beyond packaging and styling, Honda is committed in ensuring safety to every passenger. The new Jazz comes with Dual SRS airbags, G-CON body structure and Anti-lock Brake System with Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist in any of its variants. Also, its brake system carries 4-wheel disc brakes for increased braking efficiency.
Ever since its debut in 2001, overwhelming reception on the Honda Jazz has led to the attainment of its cumulative global sales of over 2.5 million units.
