The RHD Chevrolet Camaro will hit Indian roads shortly. Yes, the General Motor`s Iconic car is all set to make its Indian foray. TheChevrolet Camaro was first showcased in India at the Delhi Auto Expo and at that time it was a mere ‘Show Car’ and the company had no plans to get the car here. However, there has been much development in the event and the car is all set to foray into India.President Tim Lee said, “We will not sell a lot of Camaros in India but it will be a brand builder for the company bringing many people to our showrooms”.
The Indian Automotive market is growing at an encouraging rate. The company has very wisely decided to launch the car in such a fast growing auto sector. General Motors did not comment anything on the price but it is safe to say that the car will come as a completely built unit and will cost twice as much as in the United States. The expected price tag is Rs. 35 lakh.
The Chevrolet Camaro will be the most expensive offering from the company, when it makes its foray into India. Auto enthusiasts will be enthralled by the Autobot Edition which will follow suit.
