Ford India said that the company is not going to launch the new Ford Fiesta this month. As per company resources, Ford India is looking forward to create the same charisma by new Ford Fiesta as done by Ford Ikon. And with latest reports, Ford India is conducting the road tests of its new Ford Fiesta in Chennai.It is expected that after the launch of new Hyundai Verna, Ford is eager to release the new Ford Fiesta as soon as possible. Reason being that Hyundai is gaining share in car market with its new invent and the latest release of new Ford Fiesta will certainly result in low availability of market to dwell.Furthermore, it is expected that Ford India may send demo cars to the dealers for feedback collection. Not to forget that with the presence of large number of cars in the segment like Volkswagen Vento, Toyota Etios, Fiat Linea, Maruti Swift Dzire and Maruti SX4, Ford India could use the price tag (still undisclosed) as unique selling point.
As reported earlier, after unveiling new Ford Fiesta in New Delhi on 14th April this year,Ford India already gave an insight of the features added in its latest invent. Some of the new Ford Fiesta features like voice-activated controls, new interiors, new design of central console, better corner handling and advance safety measures are capable of creating good space for Ford India in market. But even with these attributes, competition with other players of the segment like Nissan, Skoda or the Hyundai won’t be an easy task.Furthermore, since company is still holding the announcements regarding the pricing of Ford Fiesta, the rumors regarding the price tag are high. Now it is all up to Ford India how to create a space for its new Ford Fiesta when new Hyundai Verna is already moving forward in every aspect.
