JLR Land Rover 6 at Auto Expo India 2010
After its successful entry into the Indian subcontinent last year at Mumbai, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has opened its second Indian showroom in Delhi.
The British luxury car maker is also planning to open a new showroom at Hyderabadwithin the next few months.
As a part of TATA motors, the JLR has witnessed a sixty percent hike in the overseas sales but the sales in India still need to pick up. Known for its class and elegance, Jaguar Land Rover has splendid models in the luxury class and quite apparently most of its sales are concentrated in and around the big cities of India.
The main competitors for JLR in India are Audi, BMW and the Mercedes which have shown an impeccable growth in sales over the past few months. The reason for it being the wide range of vehicles available and their service. JLR now needs to focus on the approachability to majority of people apart from preserving their brand value. TATA motors have affirmed that they would be looking forward to better the sales of JLR this year.
The ex-showroom prices of the most affordable Jaguar land Rover in India (Delhi) are:
- XF – priced at 60 lakh INR
- Freelander 2-priced at 34 lakh INR
