Hyundai releases 2009 Tucson range

Hyundai has released details of its 2009 Tucson range. With standard ESP Stability Control, Traction Control System, an integrated Bluetooth audio system plus a host of detail improvements, the 2009 Tucson range delivers added appeal and enhanced value across the range.

Enhanced 2009 Tucson - specification summary:

All new 2009 Tucson models are distinguished by a revised front grille, front indicator lens colour 
Tuscon rangechange, redesigned rear tailgate garnish, all-new alloy wheel designs and a charcoal black interior.

ESP Stability Control, incorporating Traction Control System (TCS), is now standard across the Tucson range. In addition, all Tucson variants include Bluetooth audio that allows wireless streaming of music directly from a Bluetooth compatible mobile phone or Bluetooth compatible music player as well as a phone-book that can store up to 78 numbers and names. The new audio unit includes integrated USB and Aux sockets allowing users to connect and play music from their iPod, MP3 player or USB memory stick.

2009 Tucson City ‘SX’ variants include new design 5 spoke 16” alloy wheels including a full-size alloy spare, Anti-skid Braking System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, dual front airbags, 4 speakers, front fog lamps, keyless remote entry, alarm, power windows and exterior mirrors and standard roof bars. A trip computer and auto light control system (auto headlights on / off) have also been added to the 2009 Tucson City ‘SX’ (these features are now standard across the entire 2009 Tucson range).

The 2009 Tucson City ‘Elite’ trim gains full leather seat trim (replacing half moquette, half leather seat trim) and Bluetooth audio with integrated USB and Aux sockets. Other features over and above Tucson ‘SX’ variants include front and rear passenger side curtain SRS airbags, driver and front passenger side (thorax) airbags, 6 speakers including tweeters and an electric glass sunroof.

The 2009 Tucson ‘SX V6’ gains all the enhancements of the 2009 City ‘SX’, but differs with its 2.7 V6 petrol AWD powertrain, unique new 5 dual-spoke alloy wheel design, body colour protective cladding on the lower part of the doors and wheel arches and twin chrome exhaust outlets.

A new Protectz pack option is available on Tucson City SX and Tucson SX V6 comprising driver and front passenger side (thorax) SRS airbags and front and rear passenger side curtain SRS airbags.

Four new exterior colours are available for the enhanced Tucson range – Sleek Silver, Iron Blue, Silver Grey and Dark Bronze (all metallic), whilst the interior colour theme across the range is now a ‘Charcoal Black’ finish.

A range of Genuine Hyundai Accessories is available for customers to ensure their 2009 Tucson is built for everyday adventures.
