Hero Honda Motors Ltd. (HHML) got its new name Hero MotoCorp Ltd on July 29, 2011. The company received the necessary statutory approval from the Registrar of the Companies (RoC) for the change over to the new name. Company is set to unveil the New Logo in London on August 9, 2011.Commenting on the rebranding of the company, Dr. Brijmohan Lall, Chairman, Hero MotoCorp Ltd said, “Today is a historic day. It is not just a change of name; it marks the ushering in of a new era that will unlock the immense potential of this company to build its own capabilities to grow beyond boundaries and set new benchmarks. As we set out on this exciting new journey, we look forward to the continued support of all our stakeholders including dealer friends, suppliers, employees and all our associates.”
HHML has bagged the top position and has continued to be the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturing company for 10 successive years. Moving ahead with the rebranding strategy, the renaming of the company will be followed by unveiling the new Logo on August 9.
