BMW India is number one in the Indian luxury car segment in January 2011




BMW India has embarked on the second wave of its market offensive and we are confident of maintaining our Number One position in the luxury car segment with very strong products, services and strong customer affinity towards the BMW brand.

With 500 cars delivered to customers in January 2011, BMW India has achieved leadership position in the luxury car segment in India in the begining of the year.

In January 2011, BMW India sold –

  • BMW 5 Series: 271
  • BMW 6 Series: 1
  • BMW 7 Series: 17
  • BMW X1: 15
  • BMW X3: 2
  • BMW X5: 9
  • BMW X6: 9
  • BMW Z4: 5
  • BMW Gran Turismo: 7
Dr. Andreas Schaaf, President, BMW India said, “BMW India continues its success story in 2011 by achieving leadership position in Indian luxury car segment for the month of January.
