Tata Motors on Saturday announced an increase in the prices of some passenger vehicles and all of its commercial vehicles. The increase was effective immediately.
The price increase in passenger cars is on the Tata Indica and the Tata Indigo family, in the approximate range of Rs. 3000 to Rs. 15,000, depending upon the model. In utility vehicles, the price increase is on Tata Sumo, Tata Grande MK II, Tata Safari and Tata Xenon in the range of Rs. 8,700 to Rs. 14,500.
The price increase in commercial vehicle is in the range of Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 30,000.
The price increase is in the light of increase in input costs.
